9/6/2009 - Champions of Fusion Invitational
Vardar North U-13 Boys dominate the Fusion Invitational Tournament in Midland on August 30th. They beat the Fusion, Chill SBC, 2 overtime periods to beat RSC Lightning White, and the Championship game beating Clarkston Impact White 4-1! Congratulations to the U-13 team and Coach Adrian.
8/19/2009 - Champions of the 7-Eleven Classic
Tournament record of 4-0 and beat out the Georgetown Rangers to win in the finals for U-13.
5/28/2009 - Champions of the Michigan Soccer Classic
The VARDAR NORTH U-12 Boys won first place in the Michigan Soccer Classic over Memorial Weekend in Rochester Hills, Michigan! Coach Adrian led the boys to victory over Birmingham United and Impact Blue, Clarkston.

9/20/2008 - About our Coach
Adrian Thomas began playing high level soccer when he was chosen as the goal keeper on the Trinidad Tobago National team in the U-14 bracket at age 11. He continued on the National Team for 5 years and played in the Pan-American Games at age 18. He also played for a professional futball soccer club, Joe Public FC beginning as an apprentice at age 15. He received a soccer scholarship to Concordia College, AL, in 1999 and also continued to play for the Trinidad Tobago National Team in the summers. He then transferred to Saginaw Valley State University in 2001 playing, not only Goal Keeper, but Striker and Forward as well. He completed his Bachelors Degree in Marketing and Management at SVSU. Adrian was offered positions on the Atlanta Silverbacks and the Charleston Battery. Since his college graduation, Adrian's soccer career matured into coaching as SVSU Goal Keeper/Assistant Coach, Northwood Universitys Mens and Womens Goal Keeper Coach, Vardar Goal Keeper Coach, Saginaw Township Soccer Association(STSA) Goal Keeper Coach, Vardar U-12 Boys Head Coach and Heritage JV Girls Head Coach.
Speed and Agility Training:
Speed and agility training is what gives our team the edge to overcome and exhaust the competition. Our training is designed to amplify speed off the mark, acceleration, endurance, anaerobic strength and maximum velocity. We perform fitness tests to ensure continual improve of our players fitness levels. Our agility training sets us apart by concentrating on reaction time, coordination, lateral speed, plyometrics and core strength. Our goal is to continually increase our performance to become elite athletes.
