These very talented young ladies captured 1st place in the Spring 2009 MRL Premier Division. Way to go!
10/29/2008 - HAWKS WIN STATE CUP THIRD YEAR IN A ROW
Congratulations to the Hawks 94 Black team on winning the State Cup Championship. Members of the squad include: Rachel Bergman, Brittany Buckler, Ashley Garr, Monique De Grandis, Alex Gjonaj, Leah Haidar (MVP), Lauren Hammond, Krisa Holka, Ally Krause, Monika Lee, Beth Roach, Sarah Silvasi (MVGK), Katrina Stencel, Demy Whitaker, Heather Williams, Marissa Woodliff, Katy Woolley. 5/23/2008 - SPRING 08 MIDWEST REGIONAL LEAGUE PREMIER DIVISION CHAMPIONS!
The U14 Hawks continued their fall success by capturing 1st place in the premier division of the MRL league. The girls went undefeated in their bracket and in their final game against the 2nd place team, the girls outscored Vardar 4-0. The girls now look forward to playing in the National League. Well done ladies!
1/4/2008 - MIDWEST REGIONAL LEAGUE CHAMPIONS
The U14 Michigan Hawks Black took 1st place in the Fall 2007 Midwest Regional League with 8 wins and 1 tie (23 goals for and 0 against). Great job team!
10/14/2007 - U14 Hawks Black - Repeat State Cup Champions!
The Hawks defeated Canton Celtic 4-0 in the State Cup finals held 10/14/07. Congratulations to all the girls for a job well done! 8/14/2007 - 2007 NSR Cup Champs
The Michigan Hawks 94 Black went undefeated at the NSR tournament v. Vardar North (3-0), v. Strikers F.V. 94, IL (6-0), v. West Michigan Fire Juniors (2-0), v. MI Burn 94 (2-0), and in the final game v. Grand Rapids Crew Juniors (3-0). Great job girls. A big welcome to our new players Ashley Garr, Alex Gjonaj and Beth Roach.
4/30/2007 - Elite Invitational Results
The Hawks remained undefeated through preliminary games this weekend against Brentwood Power 3-2, Sycamore Arsenal 6-0, and FC Pride 2-0. Unfortunately our FC Pride game was cut short due to weather and we were only able to play 35 min. We played the Chicago Eclipse in our final match(our 1st time since beating them during the Aug. 07 NSR competition). This time their team walked away with the win (3-1). Now we know what we need to work on and we look forward to a succesful spring season and regional round!
2/26/2007 - NATIONAL INDOOR SOCCER TOURNAMENT - 2007 NATIONAL CHAMPIONS
For the sixth consecutive year the Michigan Hawks 94 Black reigned as Champions of this event. The Hawks defeated KC Legends (3-1), Cleveland Cobras (7-0), CA United (6-1), and in the final game Excalibur (11-2). WWW.UPPER90.COM announced last year that the Hawks made history by being the only team to ever win the competition five times. Yesterday the girls proved they are still making history. Congratulations to John and all the girls on a fantastic win!
12/7/2006 - National Indoor Soccer Regional Tournament Champs
Michigan Hawks captured the National Indoor Soccer Regional Championship Title December 3rd defeating Michigan Gators FC and Michigan Burn. Congratulations girls. Best wishes in your quest for your 6th National Title!
10/15/2006 - U13 MICHIGAN HAWKS 94 BLACK WIN STATE CUP
The girls defeated Michigan Gators 94 Orange 2-0 for the State Cup Championship. Congratulations to Lauren Hammond, named MVP for the tournament and Sarah Silvasi named Most Valuable Goalkeeper for the tournament, as well as ALL the girls who each played exceptionally well. We are so proud of you :-) A huge thank you to coach John Buchanan and coach Brian Doyle for the training and dedication they gave the girls!
10/1/2006 - Congratulations!!
Congratulations Hawks on advancing to the 2007 State Cup Finals. The Hawks won all their preliminary bracket games and defeated Novi Jaguars in the quarter-finals and Vardar in the semi-finals. Great job girls!

9/4/2006 - U13 Hawks Black Advance to Mead Cusa Cup Finals 09/04/06
The 94 Hawks once again won their bracket allowing them to advance to the semi-finals in which they outscored the Internationals 2-0. In their final game the Hawks faced last week's opponent Carmel United, however this weekend our opponent took the win. The Hawks dominated the play the entire time and kept the ball on the Carmel side of the field. The girls held Carmel to a 0-0 tie through regulation play and throughout double overtime, however, in the end the Hawks lost in PK's. For those players who didn't hear him, the Carmel Coach was quoted as saying to our girls, "The better team did not win today." That is quite a compliment girls.
Always remember that each of you is a very talented young lady and you should ALL be very proud of the way you performed this weekend.
8/27/2006 - U13 Hawks Black Advance to Eclipse Challenge Cup Finals
The U13 Hawks Black experienced much success this weekend winning all games in their preliminaries against JB Marine (1-0), Dallas Texans 94 (2-1), and MTSC Blaze (4-1). They faced tough competition in the semi-final against CUSC Inferno 94 (Carmel United) and the Hawks lost Marissa (D), Sarah (GK) and Lauren (D) due to injuries. The girls did their parents, coach and injured players proud as they defeated CUSC (1-0) in the final three minutes of double overtime. Advancing to the finals with Sarah and Lauren still unable to play, the team fought hard and held No. 2 ranked PDA Charge to a tie as of half-time. In the end PDA prevailed as champions with a 3-0 score. We are so proud of all the girls. They showed true sportsmanship and spirit all weekend!
8/19/2006 - '94 Hawks Win NSR Cup
With six new girls to the roster everyone was wondering how this tournament would go. We are pleased to say it was awesome! The Defense was
great giving up only one goal on a penalty kick. And
the offense was good enough to score 11 goals.
Congrats to all the new girls and all the returning
players. It's good to be NSR cup tournament CHAMPIONS.
